Guidelines for Use of the Granite FamilySearch Center – Phase I

Guiding Principles:

Restrictions:

Limited to use by families and YSA
By appointment only; no walk-ins
All patrons and consultants to wear their own face masks
No food unless separately packaged
Practice social distancing; six feet apart, avoid handshakes, hugs, etc.
Groups wait outside and come in together and stay together during activity
Patrons must not have any symptoms or be living in the same household with others that have COVID-19 or are symptomatic
Temperature taken for all patrons prior to entering
Groups may arrange for own consultant or request a FSC consultant when scheduling building

Cleaning:/Sanitizing

Patrons to sanitize hands when entering and after use of computers
Prior to leaving, patrons clean and disinfect all commonly touched surfaces in areas used, including, entry door handles and push plates, light switches, keyboards and mice, computer tables, chairs, drinking fountain, restroom, remote controls, and any other area or equipment used
Computer screens cleaned only with special screen cleaning solution which is sprayed directly on micro fiber cloth and wiped onto the screen [Solution should NEVER be sprayed directly onto the computer screen]
