A Temple and Family History “Boot Camp” for youth ages 11+ is being sponsored by the Granite Family History Center August 6-8 from 10 am to noon. Registration is required by no later than Sunday, August 4. Register early since space is limited. Boot Camp is a fun way for youth to get excited to “Discover, Gather, and Connect” with their family….on “both sides of the veil.”
Our theme for the camp is taken from President Russell M. Nelson and his wife, Wendy W. Nelson’s, message to the youth in 2018 where they “invited every single youth in the Church to “enlist in the youth battalion of the Lord” and take part in “the greatest challenge, the greatest cause, and the greatest work on earth.”
This “boot camp” will help give youth training in descendancy and landscape views, how to attach sources, standardizing, adding a Memory in FamilySearch, Pioneer Ancestors, indexing, and Ordinances Ready, as well as participating in some fun family history games and crafts. Snacks will be provided each day.
Remember: Registration is required by Sunday, August 4. Space is limited, so register early.
