Many of you may have enjoyed participating in prior Light the World activities. This is a fun, meaningful way to help keep focused on the true meaning of Christmas and remember Christmas is about honoring Jesus Christ. This year it began a couple days ago, Sunday, December 1, but you can start at any time.

#LightTheWorld is an invitation to transform Christmas into a season of service. It’s a worldwide movement to touch hearts and change lives by doing the things Jesus did. Also, a new short film about the birth of Jesus Christ: The Christ Child is now out. This is a definite must-watch!

Daily reminders are available either by downloading a calendar with a daily suggestion of how to remember the true meaning of Christmas. Or if you prefer, you can sign up to receive daily texts and you will receive daily inspirational content and offers.

Samples of Light the World One by One calendar ideas are:

• Offer a prayer of gratitude for Jesus Christ and His mercy.
• Plan a one-on-one activity with a friend, a child, or a loved one.
• Learn about one of your ancestors and share their story.
