If you haven’t found that certain source for your relative, don’t give up. It might show up at any time. FamilySearch is continually adding additional free online records. Just last month, in March, over 25 million new indexed family history records from around the world were added. In addition, almost 180,000 new digital images were added. New historical records were added from Argentina, Australia, Canada, Colombia, the Cook Islands, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Peru, South Africa, Sweden, and the United States, which includes Colorado, the District of Colombia, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Montana, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and West Virginia. Records were also added from BillionGraves, the Revolutionary War, and World War I Draft Registration Cards.
Click here to go to this blog where you can look for your ancestors using these newly indexed records. You can find these in a chart listed by country, collection, indexed records, and comments which let you know if this is a new collection or an existing collection to which new records have been added. These records include birth, marriage, death, and church records. Millions of new genealogy records are added each month to make your search easier.
